Tingey House Project
The Tingy House, the historic Commandant’s House at the Washington Navy Yard was built in 1804 and was one of few buildings spared when the British burned the city of Washington in 1814. The Tingey Residence was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and became the official residence of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO).
1st Choice Electrical Inc was proud to provide and install an emergency backup generator at this facility. This will provide emergency power for mission critical systems. Installation had to be performed with the National Register guidelines but providing what the facility needed for operation. This project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
